Creatures in our backyard

We love searching our backyard for creatures :-) Master D often goes out to play with 'my friends the ants - they're real you know mum'.

We like to watch worms travelling by...

Check for slaters and bugs under our stump seats...

And of course, play with the resident creature - our Wookie dog (more information about this creature here)!

Wookie also likes to sniff out the creatures in our backyard. His latest 'friend' was a big ugly toad - ick. We had to move this creature on since Wookie liked licking him which led to much carpet cleaning.

Master D still hopes toad and his friends might visit again... I'm happy if they don't!

Warm wishes, Kelly

  3. Yikes, froggy looks scary, hahaha. Cool how he's camo'd himself to the ground.

  4. I loved the pictures in this post. My oldest was always so fascinated with all the creepy crawlies outside. He's 15 now and still fascinated.

  8. What a fun back yard, Kelly! Much more excitement than ours--we get birds and bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks and at night a few other critters, but nothing too exciting. Thanks for sharing on Sharing Saturday!

  9. What a great day. Quick question though - how do you keep your stump seats looking so fresh and new? Mine get really yucky fast.
