How to make simple stilts

At our local hardware store the other week I spotted these great chair feet....

and straight away I knew what I was going to use them for *smile*

...stilts!!

Husband of Mine drilled through the sides for me 

{the other hole was already there for its typical use}

And after giving them a good sand I wood burned circles all round...

...to fill with fun colour *smile*

To keep them good for outside play I spray painted them with outdoor wood varnish

Before threading through some rope...

And then he was off!

Simple stilts ~ simple fun!
