Making butterflies

Sometime ago... at the start of Spring I think... 

we made some soft and pretty butterflies at playgroup

{and then at home too}

using beautiful wool roving

We arranged the roving...

  before wrapping pipe cleaners around

and twisting

Dino Boy even made a butterfly that was just emerging from it's chrysalis

I'm not sure why I've taken so long to share this craft...

actually, it might just be that this was one of those crafts

where I found myself taking over... just a bit too much
