Threading buttons

It's been a while since I have shared a children's craft...

Although the kids have been busily crafting away

Making 'things' using recycled bits and bobs

Spreading glue and snipping... happily busy

But while Dino Boy rummaged through our crafting supplies recently

I set out some cute colourful buttons

together with wool and needle

And I started threading the buttons on...

It didn't take long before he wanted to give it a go

Taking his time and choosing which button to use next

And before he knew it...

he had made a bracelet and necklace for a friend's birthday

*smile*

{by the way, don't you just love button jars!}
