But they really are wondrous creatures...
apparently people thought they were just a pretend creature when pictures of them were first shared
And what is a walk in a National Park area without sticks and stones!?
{well boulders at least *wink*}

A real life, wild platypus!
ReplyDeleteThat's incredibly exciting. I've only ever seen one, but that was on a reserve and pointed out to me on a night-time walk - so doesn't really count!
We had to stop the car for an echidna last week though. 'He' was meandering across the road ahead of us. Isn't Aussie wildlife something else?
