These days, Dino Boy is generally self directed in his craft and play
He will ask for some materials and then immerse himself in creating
Sometimes though, I still want to join in and craft alongside him *smile*
And what I make... like a lemon tree... can spur his imagination
Until there is a whole orchard of beautiful trees heavy with fruit
And bees busily buzzing by
Often he uses his creations to tell stories
Mostly to himself... and I hear bits and pieces as I work nearby
Happy days,
Kelly
I love this small world play. Great idea with the buttons and the pipecleaners. I know my maddie will enjoy this :)
ReplyDeleteMy son does the same thing. Love the ideas they come up with!
ReplyDeleteHe is very creative
ReplyDeleteThose buttons are too cute
Just super sweet. What a lovely little world. :)
ReplyDeleteThe play world is simply the best and fosters their imagination to the max
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea! I never thought about using buttons in that way.
ReplyDeleteMy Cammy is a creator too. What do you do with all of Dino Boy's creations.
ReplyDeleteThose fruit trees are adorable.
Very happy days indeed.
ReplyDeleteJack is the same. He will play happily building and creating but also loves when I join in. And he'll often be inspired by what I make too :) These are lovely fruit trees. I could see Jack making something like this.... oh and we have those same buttons :)
They are so sweet and wonderful play prompts Kelly! Where did you get those fantastic little buttons from?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creativity. And when it inspires stories... so much the better!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Debbie
