As soon as I had them all cut out Master D started playing with them and telling me who lived at which house :-) but finally I have most of the doors sanded, painted and finished (for 'how' see here).
Some of the doors and gnomes have homes to go to at Christmas, and we will be keeping some favourites for play.
I've swapped one with the lovely Marie from Softearth's World. And super exciting I have sold four!! A big thank you to the lovely people who bought them :-)

Hi they are so beautiful, and I'd love one for my grandson, so please pop me in your draw, and I'll also follow you. All the best for bringing your children up in a Steiner inspired environment. My children went to a Steiner school and I taught there for 6 years. Such a beautiful way for children to be nurtured and educated. We are also Biodynamic farmers bringing that wonderful philosophy into our farming.
